You can only encore Characters that are sent to your Waiting Room by the EFFECT of the card, not as a cost. You cannot encore character cards that are sent to your Stock.

What you experienced is CHANGE, not encore. You can always encore at anytime character cards of yours are sent to your Waiting Room by ability or at Encore step. CHANGE is replacing Character cards with cards in the Waiting Room.

Encore phase qns, I can encore any character that is send from my stage to the waiting room or clock to their original position? Even if it is send by event cards or ability? if the character is send to the stock, can i encore them as well? I a bit confuse after reading the haruhi booster translation that change a lots of cards by sending themselves from the stage to clock and if they are encore, they can find some other cards to replace them in their border.
My previous understanding is, you can encore the character cards to stage if the cards was send to your waiting room during that turn, be it opponent character ability, cards events, or being put to reverse mode in battle. But if the cards get refresh before the encore phase, you cannot encore them anymore.
But since the haruhi cards require player to send their cards to clock and encore them to trigger those cards ability. I was wondering anyone could give a more detailed explanation for this. Thank.

Yes, you will need to have the colour either in your Clock or Level.

Yes BACKUP (official name for 助太刀 ) is different from Event counter.

You may not pay two cost as it is an ability triggered once automatically when you play that card.

Similarly, you cannot pay 4 cost to remove 2 characters as it automatically activates when you activate with Signum + Climax cards. But obviously you can do it if you have 2 Signums on ths Stage at that point of time and you attack one by one.

Fate decks, if you are modding from the original deck, i suggest you change out Dark Sakura for User of 5 Main Elements Rin (U), Ryūdō Issei for Pajamas Rin (R). You might want to decide if you want to make a King of Knights Saber deck or Rin/Archer deck from then onwards before you can change anything else major...

So climax card cannot be play on the first turn unless u clock a card that have the same color as the climax card? Or i need to wait till i level up then i need to have the required color to play the climax cards?

Assisting blade ability is from character with 助太刀 right, it does not include event cards that have counter icon?

So let say i summon a Tousaka Rin(S03-T13 TD) onto the stage, the ability when this card is summon to the stage, you may pay 1 cost to find a Iron Champion Archer and put it into ur hand. Can i pay 2 stock to find 2 Iron Champion Archer from my waiting room?

Another scenario, when the card Fire Dragon Flash!! is in play, i declare an attack, i can choose one opponent card and return it to his/her stock by paying 2 cost, can i pay 4 cost to remove 2 chars?

Sorry if i too long winded or something cos i just started playing for nearly 2weeks and there are still lots of rules i unsure about. I want to play the game according to the rules so that in future i will not make any mistakes. I currently using fate stay night deck btw, if u got any advices to how i should form my deck, pls help also, thx a lots.

The colour restriction do affect climax. Thus, you will require the colour to be in your Clock should you want to activate it (you may choose a card with the same colour and put it to your Clock during your Clock Phase to do so)

You may activate more then once for cards with Startup abilities. However, for Auto abilities, you may only activate them when certain conditions are met.

Yea, we want K-On too.

klone: no, it just means that that damage is cancelled as it is stopped for that attack only

When a Climax card is flipped over, any prior and future damage in this attack are prevented.

does this means the player's turn ends and cannot attack anymore?

Thx for answering, the color restriction does not affect climax cards right? I do not need to have the color of the climax cards in my level or clock slots to use those climax cards?
The cards with when this card is play onto the stage, can i activate the ability more than once during the turns that cards is play?
Just to reconfirm, those counter cards with assisting blade(usually character cards) does not need to have the correct color in the level or clock slots to play it right?

Lastly, really hope that they will come out with k-on cards, be it extra pack or booster pack or trial decks. I will definitely buy them. I have prepare k-on deck sleeve already, so i can form a deck right away if they do come out and they will be protected.^^
