20th June 2009 marked the opening day of the card game and local doujinshi shop The Card Geeks. The Card Geeks, or TCG, is ran by a small team who sees potential in the game WS and hopes to bring it to Singapore at a bigger scale and they wanted to start off with a bang.
And they sure did. WS@NK-DS brings this coverage of the event to you readers! Bushiroad English offical blog has also posted about the event!
Store bursting with players
On the opening day, TCG opened at 11am, well before any other stores opened in the area. At this period of time, players were already streaming in, opening booster boxes and looking at their new cards, attempting to make new decks on the spot.
And suddenly bursting with energy!
At 12pm, the registration of the tournament began and players went into full swing after playing a few practice rounds. At this point, some players came with a deck prepared to take the crown but some players made their decks on the spot.
All in all, 26 boxes of booster boxes and 3 EP boxes were opened on the day of the event! It also amassed a crowd of 30+ people at it’s peak!
Below are pictures of the day’s photos:
And the competition begins!
LBEX versus Nanoha StrikerS
LBEX versus Nanoha StrikerS again
Fate/stay night versus Mix deck
Lol overkill indeed
Things don’t look good over at this side…
Kanata and Haruka laying some damage.
Youch! Whole field swipe!
A very useful card in Nanoha deck.
Lots of shiney cards were pulled (some not from the shop but nontheless) and they are:
Me: Kanata RRR, Sasami (G) RRR,
Darren: Mio RRR, Saya SP
Ah Fa: Sasami (G) RRR
dran: KoK Saber RRR
Yiting: Sasami (Y) RRR
Huan Da: Yellow climax (LBEX) SP
Unfortunately the image was blurred. That’s an SP Saya.
Again, K0K Saber!
And at the end of the day, the prizes were presented to the winners!
arKaile walks away with 1st place prize of LBEX playmat while Ah Fa got the 2nd prize!
Consolation prize winners Tee Guan Hong and Low Siow Kuan!
We’ll be looking forward to the monthly league championships next month! Remember, the more games you win, the higher chances you’ll win! Do register your games to clock them into your win tally at TCG on any working day!
Oh yes, and i’m in the league as well! Can you spot my deck?
So until then, let’s look forward to the new decks and extra packs that will be coming our way!

I can spot your deck!

Err anyone collecting or playing Chaos TCG can show me an english site on how to play the game? My japanese not so good hard understanding the rules of the game. Any help is appreciated thanks.^^
Chaos TCG feels a lot like Magic the gathering + Yu Gi Oh to me.
I have not find any English translation to the rules but I will just translates the key rules.
Setting Up the game:
50 cards deck – Consists of “Chara”, “Event” and “Set”
10 “Extra” card (Optional) – “Extra” is the term given to cards that is summon by putting 2 or more characters indicated on the card itself on field to the “control room” (Treat this as the same as Yu Gi Oh fusion deck)
Basic Rule
1. Win by library death (no more card in the deck)
2. Damages deal to player are to be deducted from the deck
3. Player will need to choose a “Partner” (Main character), that will be put in play at the start if the game.
Types of cards:
Terms:
Partner – Partner is a “Chara” card that player had choose which will be in play throughout the whole game. Treat this as your avatar/ soul card. Partner card is able to do a level up.
Friend – “Chara” cards that is unable to level up. Treat this as a normal “Chara” card summoning.
Level Up – Do not mix up with WS TCG as leveling in Chaos TCG does not get player closer to losing losing the game.
Please ignore the previous post.
Accidentally pressed the submit button before I finish typing.
And I think that my previous post maybe inappropriate to this thread.
Thanks for the info anyway. ^^
I found out how to play from the TCG chaos online site where they offer the game online.
Only less Extra cards not sure but now more clearer.
Just 1 more question if you happen to know although it’s not about WS@
To summon the extra card, does all the relevant character cards need to be face up on field? And can i put an extra card as partner card? Do extra cards level?
And just wanting to know if the TCG shop at Sunshine plaza has a site or contact nr or something? I need to ask if they also selling Chaos TCG cards or just selling WS@ packs? As I’m trying to find Queen’s blade starter packs and booster packs.
Thanks for the help anyway.^^
