Just in! The Card Geeks, a card game shop in Sunshine Plaza is finally opening this weekend! The card game shop is carrying WS Cards as it’s main selling point. WS@NK-DS has managed to tie-down a tourney for the shop on the opening day itself!

The Card Geeks, or TCG to be short, is a shop just setup over the past month in Sunshine Plaza. TCG will be bringing Japanese card games to Singapore shores on demand, hopefully cheaper then other shops in the region.

TCG is located at 91 Bencoolen Street Sunshine Plaza #01-77 and will only be open on friday nights and weekends from this week onwards. Opening hours are friday 5pm-7.30pm while weekends will be from 1.30pm -7pm.

WS@NK-DS has been in the talks with TCG for a while (and even helped out a bit in the furnishing) and will be organising a tourney for the opening day of their shop! This time round, TCG has also decided to sponsor the prizes!

WS@NK-DS and TCG reserve the right to change tourney prizes and/or withdraw any prizes at any time without prior notice.

TCG WS Freestyle Tourney

• Standard WS Rules, including deck construct restrictions.
• No restrictions on deck modification
• Game sheets will be issued.
• Each player will look for any player and play for victories. The outcome of the games played will be recorded by the players themselves. The top 4 players (by percentage) with the highest points by 4pm will be amongst the semi-finalists. Do try to play with as many opponents as possible. Should there be a tie in percentage of victories, the player with a higher play number will be chosen as the semi-finalist.
• Semi-finalists battle in elimination rounds till finalists emerges.
• Players need to clock at least 10 games to be a semi-finalist.
• Games with unregistered players do not count. A player cannot play against the same opponent for more then 3times.
• Registration will commence from 12pm onwards and will close at 2pm. Minimum no. of players for the tourney to commence is 8.
• Game outcomes will be noted at the end of the event and a monthly League chart will be recorded.
• The only requirement to enter will be to purchase any WS product in the shop.
• The champion deck construct will be posted in TCG and on WS@NK-DS.

In the case of too little participants, the prizes will be tweaked.
