May 30, 2013 in Monthly Column by Mycstea

Hi everyone! I’ve decided that Weekly Tips will be promoted to Monthly Tips from thus on. Partly due to the fact that I’m running out of things to write XD.

Also, to those familiar with the title, please do not be alarmed, this is not an article about a Yu-Gi-Oh! card.

Gameplay Column: W.T. #6 Unlimited Blade Works

March 22, 2012 in Gameplay Tips, Weekly Column by Mycstea

The Noble Phantasm of legendary servant Archer, creating a reality marble which he can easily use to gain utmost advantage. There is one thing that is similar to the game of WS other then the actual Climax card, is the similarity with Assisting Blade’s (BACKUP) ability to change the pace of the game.

What better series to chant the incantation then Fate/stay night/Hollow Ataraxia/Zero itself? =D

Gameplay Column: W.T. #5 Zero is Hero

March 14, 2012 in Gameplay Tips, Weekly Column by Mycstea

Hi again guys, after the extremely long article the other day, I am here today to talk about Level 0 cards. It does seem like a small thing, that 500, 1000 Power, but it does hold a great deal of importance as to the amount of advantage a player can gain.

Level 0 domination can help you a lot near mid-later games!

February 22, 2012 in Gameplay Tips, Weekly Column by Mycstea

Hello all! Okay I did comment that i wouldn’t post this until next week but what the heck =)

In WS, there exist all kinds of ability types. Of the many very varying types, there is one which is called Bond. In earlier WS, Bond is pretty much quite useless. However, over time, Bond has become one of the core abilities in the game.

Gameplay Tips: Being Plain Might Not Be Such A Bad Thing

February 9, 2012 in General by bj0rN

I’m not sure if you might be a culprit of this, but are you one who will look through your card pool, being too caught up with looking for what’s good to put in your deck, preferably with abilities to put into your deck that you just forego all the vanilla cards because they are “not useful” enough? I used to be one of them, but I’ve learnt to treasure them.

There was once upon a time where we would see a plain 1/0 5500 vanilla card and just overlook it, however it is not the case now. The meta has shifted to where deck compression is one of the important thing to look out for in a competitive deck. Today, we’ll be looking at the vanilla 1/0 5500 card.

Level 1. Cost 0. 5500 Power. So what’s the big deal about it?
