Hi everyone, Rake here. I’ll be starting up a new series of articles based on Standard format play. This here is going to be the first of that series.
Because sometimes, letting your opponent have a field is simply not in your best interests…
To get this party launched with a bang, let’s go back years and take a look at one of the most iconic standard decks in WS. The Akinari Hand-killer deck. Disclaimer, the deck we shall be examining here contains several cards that have long been banned in Standard format tournaments at least. I would not advise anyone to try too hard and spend too much to recreate it as there’s no real competitive future for this deck.
