Happy New Year, its 2010 and heres the line up for January.

Monthly Shop Tournament

Venue: The Card Geeks (Sunshine Plaza), Ani-play (Sunset way) and Black Tech (Bedok)

Dates: 9th January (Saturday) and 10th January (Sunday, For Black Tech Only)

Time: 1.30 PM onwards for TCG and Ani-play, 4pm onwards for Black Tech

Entry Price: $5

Tournament style: Modified Swiss  and Top 4 playoffs

Series restriction: Standard

Registration limit: 12 Players for TCG and Ani-play 16 for Black Tech (both days)

Pre-registration Date: 4th till 8th January

Tournament entry is determined by first-come-first-served basis. Each player may only join ONE day for this event.

The Memorial Cup Tournament

Venue: The Card Geeks (Sunshine Plaza), Ani-play (Sunset way) and Black Tech (Bedok)

Dates: 16th January (Saturday) and 17th January (Sunday, For Black Tech Only)

Time: 1.30 PM onwards for TCG and Ani-play, 4pm onwards for Black Tech

Entry Price: $5

Tournament style: Modified Swiss and Top 4 playoffs

Series restriction: Fate/Stay Neo-standard (Only cards from FSN, FHA and KNK are allowed)

Registration limit: 12 Players for TCG and Ani-play 16 for Black Tech (both days)

Pre-registration Date: 11th till 15th January

Tournament entry is determined by first-come-first-served basis. Each player may only join ONE day for this event.

Haruhi Title Cup

Venue: The Card Geeks (Sunshine Plaza) and Ani-play (Sunset way)

Dates: 23th January (Saturday)

Time: 1.30 PM onwards

Entry Price: $5

Tournament style: Modified Swiss (12Players) and Top 4 playoffs

Series restriction: 50% of the deck is from Haruhi (Events, climax included)

Registration limit: 12 Players

Pre-registration Date: 18th till 22nd January

Tournament entry is determined by first-come-first-served basis. Each player may only join ONE day for this event.

New players are highly encouraged to join any of the above mentioned tournaments.

Also, the new season of the league has not started as we work out a wider network for the league.

Note: All of the above tournaments will have promo cards more info on their site

With regards to the burning question can a player join another shop’s tournament, at present we have no restrictions for this as the league has not started. However, future tournaments will probably be conducted on the same day and around the same time.

Hi robthebin, for TCG you’ll need to drop by and register as they require you to pay upfront. (due to too many people pre-registering and not showing up) As for aniplay and black tech, drop them a call to enquire more as their practice might differ.
