Hi guys, here’s a slight headsup from the folks of TCG:

March Monthly Shop Tournament will be shifted to Takashimaya B1 Anime Showdown location. Timing of the tournament will be the same. TCG will be closed over this weekend as well. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Black Technology will be holding March Monthly Shop tournament this weekend as well. For those who want to sign up, please register by your usual means.

On the 14th of March, there will be another tournament held at Takashimaya. More details on that later…

Just an update from a certain NPC, the venue for the above tournament is now Takashimaya’s Anime Showdown.

Hi all, here’s a note for people interested to be Judges. After receiving feedback from the previous batch of Judge potentials, we have decided to revise the Judge Test and make it more accessible to future judge potentials.

There will be a Judge Test this 7th March 2010, Sunday morning from 10am to 12pm. Language of the paper will be in Japanese, however you can answer the test paper in English. Should you choose to answer the examination in Japanese, the passing grade of the test paper will be decreased by 5%. The passing grade of the paper is 75%. Potential Judges who did not pass the previous test can also attend this test.

Judge interests please register for the test by emailing to ws.nk.ds@gmail.com and include your full name and contact number. No exceptions will be given to those who are interested and did not register before 6th March 2010 Saturday night 10pm. Please bring a pen and be on time, a maximum of 15minutes grace period will be given to latecomers.

Finally the schedule for March! This month is again packed with new series tournaments to slug it out!

Hey guys, it’s been a while since the last post. Here are the spoiler translations for DC, DCII PC Trial Deck! I’ve encoded it in Unicode this time, thus there is no need to specially change the encoding.

Also, a side note is that we will be shifting soon (website). More details on that later. Also, the post for March tournament schedule will also be updated later tonight, look out for it!

From tomorrow onwards, Nanoha THE Movie 1st Special Supply sets and Extra Packs will be on sale at The Card Geeks, Black Technology and Aniplay respectively.

To make it available throughout the week, TCG will be selling a maximum of 2 Nanoha THE Movie 1st Special Supply sets a day!

Normal stocks of Extra Packs for Nanoha THE Movie 1st are also available so do come down early if you want to grab yours, while stocks last!

EDIT: The test will be conducted in Japanese and answers are also expected to be written in Japanese. This is to ensure the judges can respond in a Japanese environment as well.

Also, Disclaimer: Please do not sign up just because you “want to know more about the game”. Please only sign up if you are interested to be a judge.

Do you think you have what it takes to be a judge? Think you know the rules enough to be a walking encyclopedia? If you think you are good enough, refer to the below checklist!

1. Can read Japanese/Kanji to certain proficiency (At least the text of the abilities)
2. Is impartial and enthusiastic
3. Is patient with explanations
4. Has very clear knowledge of a wide range of WS cards
5. Has very clear knowledge of WS card game rules

If you fit all the above descriptions, please comment in this post and come down to TCG next sunday on 24th January 2010 at 11am – 12pm for a crash course of WS floor rules, erratas,  game rules as well as terminology.

After which, on the 31st January 2010, a written test must be taken to be declared a judge by the Genesis Frontier WS Game Management Committee! Time for the judge test is within 2 hours from 10am – 12pm.

Do come down to TCG if interested. Only those who have replied in this post will be entertained. Please note your full name as well.

Psst, this just in from China’s information web… February (tentatively 27th, rumour says) will be releasing with a new Trial Deck for D.C./D.C.II PC (TY/FL)… and this time there are some radical changes.

• 5 deck specials instead of 2
• Multiple copies of certain deck special in the deck (Total of 10 special cards in a deck. Of which 2 are still 1 card each, 3 cards are given a total of 8 cards)
• 3 signed cards instead of 2
• 1 signed card in 6 decks instead of 12

And with Trial Deck there of course comes booster boxes… rumour mill also says it might appear in March (if math is good, it means 13th). Look out for any official announcements dudes.
